Mine Stabilisation

Following a Coal Mining Risk Assessment and an investigation, if historical mine workings are identified the next step is to remediate the site ready for further development.

FWS Consultants are able to design remediation and stabilisation methods including:

Bridging solutions (rafts, re-enforcement, piling and geogrids)
Infilling solutions (drilling & grouting, hole spacing design, perimeter walls design)
Treatment of collapsed workings and broken ground.

FWS Consultants also offer validation, inspect and expert services.
