Resource and Reserve

FWS have significant experience in the design of resource estimation programmes, database compilation, validation and interpretation, geological modelling, mineral resource and mineral reserve estimation and reporting in accordance with international resource reporting codes. Capacities include:

Drilling and Sampling

Selecting the appropriate drill method, wireline suite, sample method, sample spacing and assay technique is key to designing a successful resource estimation programme and is specific to each deposit type. Our consultants are highly experienced in the design and implementation of resource estimation programmes.

Data Integrity and Validation

Our experience includes the validation of a Client’s existing data; design of appropriate sampling protocols and assay techniques; and implementation and monitoring of QA/QC data. This is essential to code-compliant resource reporting and provides robust, reliable and repeatable results to maximise confidence in the resource estimation.

Geological Interpretation and Modelling

Our expertise allows resource estimates to accurately reflect the geological controls on mineralisation in combination with relevant statistical analysis, providing the Client with the confidence to proceed on a sound scientific foundation. Our staff and associates are experienced in the modelling of data in 2D and 3D for accurate resource estimation.

Technical Reporting

Our consultants provide independent, reliable and trustworthy Technical Reports (Competent Person's Report) to the mining industry. Our experience across a wide range of deposit types and commodities allow us to comply with international reporting regulations and standards. We can report to a range of CRIRSCO-type reporting codes such as NI 43-101, JORC, SAMREC and PERC.
